Whether being told through film, on pages, or in the lyrics of a song, Chelsea wholeheartedly believes stories are the most powerful gifts human beings possess. An avid reader, movie-watcher, and imaginary-world-creator from an early age, she knew that storytelling was her future. She graduated from Oral Roberts University with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising, where she learned how to tell an organization’s story through copywriting and content creation. Her first job out of college was her first venture into the world of filmmaking. She worked as the production coordinator on an independent feature film in Kansas City, which on such a small project meant she fulfilled every role as needed. It was a crash course in production, but once she was on set, she fell in love with the process of bringing a script to life.
As the Production Coordinator for Steelehouse, her passion for communicating and connecting with people through stories and making sure no small detail is overlooked along the way makes Chelsea an invaluable thread in Steelehouse’s tapestry.
